Mixed-Signal Innovator Honored for Products, Vision and Future Opportunities among Chip Companies Achieving $251 Million to $1 Billion in Annual Revenue
It’s very gratifying to be recognized by our industry peers for our achievements this year

AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Silicon Labs (Nasdaq: SLAB), a leader in high-performance, analog-intensive, mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs), today announced that it won the Global Semiconductor Alliance’s (GSA) Most Respected Public Semiconductor Company award in the category of companies achieving $251 million to $1 billion in annual sales. Silicon Labs received this prestigious industry accolade at the 2013 GSA Awards Dinner Celebration held on Dec. 12 in Santa Clara, California.

According to the GSA, the industry's Most Respected Public Semiconductor Company awards identify public semiconductor companies garnering the most respect from the industry in terms of products, vision and future opportunities. In addition, profitability and market capitalization, among other financial and product successes, were considered to be listed on the ballot.

“It’s very gratifying to be recognized by our industry peers for our achievements this year,” said Tyson Tuttle, CEO of Silicon Labs. “This GSA award underscores our vision to be the world’s premier mixed-signal innovator and recognizes our successful execution in a highly competitive global environment.”

The annual GSA awards honor the achievements of the world’s top semiconductor companies in several categories ranging from outstanding leadership to financial accomplishments, as well as overall respect within the industry. The annual GSA awards dinner, one of the semiconductor industry’s premier events, recognizes companies that have demonstrated excellence through their vision, strategies and execution.

“We are delighted that Silicon Labs has been named a Most Respected Public Semiconductor Company this year,” said Jodi Shelton, co-founder and president of GSA. “This award honors Silicon Labs for their continued success as a public company this year and their long history of innovation in the mixed-signal IC market.”
